How to use this tool

  2. Press Next to inspect the detected metadata.
  3. Review the fields, then remove metadata and download the checked copies.

Supported cleanup and limits

Supported formats are JPEG, PNG, WebP, PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, MP3, FLAC, MP4 and MOV. Each format has a specific cleanup scope; this service does not promise to remove every possible identifier.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Supported files are inspected and cleaned inside this browser tab. Processing libraries are bundled with the site. The interface font is loaded from Google Fonts.

Does a clean report mean my file is anonymous?

No. A clean report means no metadata within the supported cleanup scope was detected after processing. Unknown tags, filenames and visible contents may still identify you.

How many files can I clean?

Up to 10 files per batch, 500 MB per file and 1 GB per batch. Download files separately or together as a ZIP.
